Monthly miracles from Gifts to make you Giggle.

due date August miracle

I like finding a different slant on the due date announcement shirt and Gifts to Make you Giggle came through with the 'miracle baby' approach. I couldn't find anything on the site to explain what they mean by 'miracle' (nor why this design would make you giggle) so I guess you can take it to mean that every baby is a miracle, or that an IVF baby is a miracle, or whatever interpretation you like. Each design features the name of the month above an illustration of a foetus all curled up in the womb. Beneath the drawing of the embryo are the words 'miracle on board'. They offer these on many different shirts tops and other gift ideas.

To find the design with a picture of your unborn miracle baby for your due date month, click on:
January miracle on board, or
February miracle on board, or March miracle on board, or April miracle on board, or May miracle on board, or June miracle on board, or July miracle on board, or August miracle on board, or September miracle on board, or October miracle on board, or November miracle on board or last but not least, December miracle on board.

Like most of the due date designs I am reviewing, these are just part of a bigger online shop. There are other designs, some about pregnancy, that you might enjoy seeing at Gifts to make you Giggle .

Getting to the point with KustomizedKids

yes due date and gender

I think these designs are fairly new, as of May 2006. They come from Rachel Lucas who runs, KustomizedKids. The design is quite simple, which makes it a safe gift - there are no embellishments that might not be to someone's taste. And Rachel has been very thorough, covering not just every month, but also a version for mothers expecting a boy, mothers expecting a girl, and also mothers who aren't finding out the sex of the baby. They all start with 'Yes. I'm pregnant.' Then 'It's a boy', 'It's a girl' or 'We aren't finding out the baby's gender.' The final sentence is 'I'm due in' with of course the name of the month. So for example the shirt shown above reads Yes. I'm pregnant. It's a boy. I'm due in September.

Speech bubbles pointing to the womb from Materni-Tee.com

due date voice bubbler

This is one of many due date designs at my own site, Materni-Tee.com As you can see, it features a voice bubble coming from the womb, or belly. The words being spoken are either 'I'll see you in' and the name of the month or more succinctly 'See you in' and the name of the month, depending on how long the month of the due date is. Each design is available on many different shirts and tops. It isn't on the CafePress products that you can't wear of course, because the voice bubble wouldn't make sense.

To find the design with your unborn baby announcing your due date month, click on:
I'll see you in January, or
I'll see you in February, or See you in March, or See you in April, or See you in May, or See you in June, or See you in July, or See you in August, or I'll see you in September, or I'll see you in October, or I'll see you in November or last but not least, I'll see you in December.

When I went through all these sections to get the links, I discovered that there were no products at all in the section for due in August. Naturally I fixed it straight away, but it must have been like that for years without me knowing. So if you see any other errors in the site, please email materni-tee@myway.com so I can fix it asap. In the meantime, enjoy browsing my speech bubble due date shirts .

Sweet 'Due in Bears' from Fig Tree Studios

due date bear

There's good news and bad news about the due date designs at Fig Tree Studios. Good news: There's some cute stuff; and their profits help them recover from Hurricane Katrina. Bad news: Jerry (the artist) hasn't covered every month yet for all the designs. I also find this shop harder to navigate than the others. part of the problem is that the 'product name' doesn't say what month it is for and the thumbnails are sometimes hard to make out. If you want to see all his due date shirts, start at this page and mosey around.

The sweet due bear I've shown is only available (at time of blogging) for due in March, due in April, due in May and due in June.

Their is also a series for each month of the year with some clipart of a waving embryo surrounded by the words PLANNING MY ESCAPE IN (MONTH). To see some individual products with this design for your due date month, click on:
due in January, due in February, due in March, due in April, due in May, due in June, due in July, due in November or due in December.

Sorry August, September and October mothers to be. You miss out this time.
