There are three different due date announcement designs to choose from at Knotted and Nested, a shop for 'brides and nested wives'.

The new mother (2006) who runs the site hasn't added all three designs to all twelve months yet....who can blame her, being a new mother with her hands full.

Tales of a baby's due date.

due date big brother

due date big sister

So far I have only reviewed due date announcement shirts for adultsSo I was delighted to find a range of shirts for the older brother or sister to wear as a way to announce their little brother or sister's due date. The shop is called Tales of a Baby Human. I think that's a pretty cute name!

There are designs for both boys and girls that feature a star. There are also designs for boys to wear that feature a toy aeroplane and designs for girls to wear featuring a colourful butterfly.

There are infant creepers, like unique onesies, and toddler t-shirts. They all feature the words Big Brother or Big Sister followed by the name of the month and '2007'. There are also 2006 versions in the shop, but I don't expect you're still looking for those. So far, 2007 is only covered up until June. I hope Benjamin's mother, who created this store, will have the time and energy to add all the remaining 2007 images and then the 2008 versions and so on...

In the meantime, you can get to the toddler shirts with the gender and month you're looking for by clicking on the following links:

A sweet baby from IVF Baby

due date month ivf

This sweet and simple due date design can be worn by any pregnant woman. It comes from a CafePress shop specialising in IVF pregnancies and called IVFbaby. It's a fantastic resource about in-vitro fertilization and also twins and multiples.

For this design, Andy the artist has put a cute cartoon style drawing of a baby face with the words DUE IN and the name of the month.

You can get straight to the baby face for the month of your due date, by clicking on:
Due in January,
Due in February, Due in March, Due in April, Due in May, Due in June, Due in July, Due in August, Due in September, Due in October, Due in November or Due in December.

A little bird (from SagArt) told me.

due date month modern

Here's a cute way to announce the month of your due date. Sheryl of SagArt has put together a colourful stork, as in the bird that delivers the babies, with the names of each month. The stork is giving a cheeky thumbs up.

Sheryl has a wicked sense of humour, so be warned that if you start browsing around her successful CafePress shop you may emerge hours later with an aching funny bone!

To find the stork with the month of your due date, click on:
January,
February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December.

As a special bonus, Sheryl has also given us designs to announce what season our babies are due in too. They feature a baby in a stroller with the name of the season. So depending on whether you are due in Autumn, Fall, Summer Winter or Spring , click on the link to your due date season.

Be the judge at Be The Tees

due date month modern

This design comes from a diverse CafePress shop called Be The Tees. It is a sister shop of Luck-e-Tees who did a cute due date design which I reviewed back in March of this year. It also featured a love heart. That time the love heart is black on most items and white on the black shirts.

You be the judge, but personally I like the red love heart better and would like to see this new eye-catching design from Be The Tees offered in some warmer colours too.

I'm pleased that they have offered a wide range of CafePress shirts and other products in each section.

You can get straight to the section for the month of your due date, by clicking on:
Due in January,
Due in February, Due in March, Due in April, Due in May, Due in June, Due in July, Due in August, Due in September, Due in October, Due in November or Due in December.

Modern simplicity from the Modern Mom Store

due date month modern

When i found this simple, modern due date design at The Modern Mom Store I was hoping the whole range would be just as simple. Instead, the typeface for each month has a character of its own, which i guess is good in a different way. Some are also plain, some are more expressive, as you can see if you click through the links for each month's due date below.

Lolita Carrico is the Founder of Modern Moms but i don't know whether she created the designs. At present they are not available on as many products as some of the other due date maternity stores revied here, but the range is fairly wide nonetheless.

To see the range available with a type only design for your due date month, click on:
Due in January,
Due in February, Due in March, Due in April, Due in May, Due in June, Due in July, Due in August, Due in September, Due in October, Due in November or Due in December.

Toddle over to Toddler's Place

due date baby arrives in

I was pleased to find yet another variation on the due date theme at Toddler's Place. Instead of the more common 'due in' message, these due date designs have the words 'baby arrives in' followed by the month. they also all have a pretty floral emblem within the slogan.

As you can see, some of the products are designed with the print on the back of the shirts , which is possible with most CafePress apparel, but not all.

To see the range available with this design for your due date month, click on:
Baby arrives in January,
baby arrives in February, Baby arrives in March, Baby arrives in April, Baby arrives in May, Baby arrives in June, Baby arrives in July, Baby arrives in August, Baby arrives in September, Baby arrives in October, Baby arrives in November or Baby arrives in December.

'Two little' from Owen and Emma's Place

due date bear

You won't find a huge range of Due Date Shirts at Owen and Emma's Place . Hopefully it's a work in progress because this simple floral design is quite sweet.

Unfortunately when I posted this they only have two products available for two months. There's a Due in April Cap sleeve shirt or Due in April Women's Tshirt

And there's a Due in July Cap sleeve shirt or Due in July Women's Tshirt

There is no contact email listed either, making it hard to request a design for you due date month. Owen and Emma, if you see this, how about more due date shirts for the other months?

New black pregnancy announcement shirts

due date voice bubbler

Now that CafePress offer black shirts, they are steadily being added to the range at Materni-Tee.com Since posting about the speech bubble design I have added black t-shirts to each due date month.

To find a black shirt with announcing the month of your due date, click on:
I'll see you in January, or
I'll see you in February, or See you in March, or See you in April, or See you in May, or See you in June, or See you in July, or See you in August, or I'll see you in September, or I'll see you in October, or I'll see you in November or last but not least, I'll see you in December.

Black shirts are said to be slimming lol so if you want to hide your baby bump, but also announce it, have a look through the black due date shirts .

Monthly miracles from Gifts to make you Giggle.

due date August miracle

I like finding a different slant on the due date announcement shirt and Gifts to Make you Giggle came through with the 'miracle baby' approach. I couldn't find anything on the site to explain what they mean by 'miracle' (nor why this design would make you giggle) so I guess you can take it to mean that every baby is a miracle, or that an IVF baby is a miracle, or whatever interpretation you like. Each design features the name of the month above an illustration of a foetus all curled up in the womb. Beneath the drawing of the embryo are the words 'miracle on board'. They offer these on many different shirts tops and other gift ideas.

To find the design with a picture of your unborn miracle baby for your due date month, click on:
January miracle on board, or
February miracle on board, or March miracle on board, or April miracle on board, or May miracle on board, or June miracle on board, or July miracle on board, or August miracle on board, or September miracle on board, or October miracle on board, or November miracle on board or last but not least, December miracle on board.

Like most of the due date designs I am reviewing, these are just part of a bigger online shop. There are other designs, some about pregnancy, that you might enjoy seeing at Gifts to make you Giggle .

Getting to the point with KustomizedKids

yes due date and gender

I think these designs are fairly new, as of May 2006. They come from Rachel Lucas who runs, KustomizedKids. The design is quite simple, which makes it a safe gift - there are no embellishments that might not be to someone's taste. And Rachel has been very thorough, covering not just every month, but also a version for mothers expecting a boy, mothers expecting a girl, and also mothers who aren't finding out the sex of the baby. They all start with 'Yes. I'm pregnant.' Then 'It's a boy', 'It's a girl' or 'We aren't finding out the baby's gender.' The final sentence is 'I'm due in' with of course the name of the month. So for example the shirt shown above reads Yes. I'm pregnant. It's a boy. I'm due in September.

To see the designs that say 'It's a boy' for the month of your due date, click on :
I'm due in January, or
I'm due in February, or I'm due in March, or I'm due in April, or I'm due in May, or I'm due in June, or I'm due in July, or I'm due in August, or I'm due in September, or I'm due in October, or I'm due in November and of course, I'm due in December.

To see the designs that say 'It's a girl' for the month of your due date, click on :
I'm due in January, or
I'm due in February, or I'm due in March, or I'm due in April, or I'm due in May, or I'm due in June, or I'm due in July, or I'm due in August, or I'm due in September, or I'm due in October, or I'm due in November and of course, I'm due in December.

To see the designs that say 'We aren't finding out the baby's gender' for the month of your due date, click on :
I'm due in January, or
I'm due in February, or I'm due in March, or I'm due in April, or I'm due in May, or I'm due in June, or I'm due in July, or I'm due in August, or I'm due in September, or I'm due in October, or I'm due in November and finally, I'm due in December.

Speech bubbles pointing to the womb from Materni-Tee.com

due date voice bubbler

This is one of many due date designs at my own site, Materni-Tee.com As you can see, it features a voice bubble coming from the womb, or belly. The words being spoken are either 'I'll see you in' and the name of the month or more succinctly 'See you in' and the name of the month, depending on how long the month of the due date is. Each design is available on many different shirts and tops. It isn't on the CafePress products that you can't wear of course, because the voice bubble wouldn't make sense.

To find the design with your unborn baby announcing your due date month, click on:
I'll see you in January, or
I'll see you in February, or See you in March, or See you in April, or See you in May, or See you in June, or See you in July, or See you in August, or I'll see you in September, or I'll see you in October, or I'll see you in November or last but not least, I'll see you in December.

When I went through all these sections to get the links, I discovered that there were no products at all in the section for due in August. Naturally I fixed it straight away, but it must have been like that for years without me knowing. So if you see any other errors in the site, please email materni-tee@myway.com so I can fix it asap. In the meantime, enjoy browsing my speech bubble due date shirts .

Sweet 'Due in Bears' from Fig Tree Studios

due date bear

There's good news and bad news about the due date designs at Fig Tree Studios. Good news: There's some cute stuff; and their profits help them recover from Hurricane Katrina. Bad news: Jerry (the artist) hasn't covered every month yet for all the designs. I also find this shop harder to navigate than the others. part of the problem is that the 'product name' doesn't say what month it is for and the thumbnails are sometimes hard to make out. If you want to see all his due date shirts, start at this page and mosey around.

The sweet due bear I've shown is only available (at time of blogging) for due in March, due in April, due in May and due in June.

Their is also a series for each month of the year with some clipart of a waving embryo surrounded by the words PLANNING MY ESCAPE IN (MONTH). To see some individual products with this design for your due date month, click on:
due in January, due in February, due in March, due in April, due in May, due in June, due in July, due in November or due in December.

Sorry August, September and October mothers to be. You miss out this time.

Cute due date designs from Cutest Baby

When a shop is called

Cutest Baby
you expect appealing designs, and the illustrations you'll find here don't disappoint.

For each month there is a cute drawing alongside the words ‘Due in’.
There is a penguin and a snowman for due in January, a love heart surrounded by a crescent of hearts for due in February, a four leafed clover for due in March, a stylised rose for due in April, a butterfly for
due in May, a sea shell for due in June, a teddy bear holding a bouquet of flowers for due in July, a single unopened rose for due in August a quirky apple for
due in September, a devil holding a trident for due in October a snowflake for due in November and
two bells and ribbons for Due in December.

While you're checking out the due date stuff, you may want to look around the rest of the
Cutest Baby
store as they have plenty of other cute baby stuff too.

Sweet Memories Family Shop

The cute and cheeky looking baby at The Sweet Memories Family Shop is the creation of Irina, who posted a comment under the True Disciple blog entry.

Every month has the words ‘Due in’ above the smiling baby and the name of the month, below it. To get straight to the month of your due date, click on the appropriatelink here:Due in January, Due in February, Due in March, Due in April, Due in May, Due in June, Due in July, Due in August Due in September, Due in October Due in November or Due in December. You'll probably notice that on the main page these seem in reverse order, that is with December first and January last. irina must have created them in chronological order becaue the CafePress free online stores put the newest sections at the top of the page by default.

Biblical text from The True Disciple

Rosemary, who designs the pregnancy announcement shirts at The True Disciple brightens up the text with very decorative fonts.

Every month has the words ‘Due in’ followed by the name of the month,in a very illustrative olde world typestyle, along with a clipart image or other decorative graphic. She uses: a stork carrying a baby forDue in January, stylised pink lovehearts for Due in February, a four leaf clover for Due in March, the stork and baby again for Due in April, two butterflies for Due in May, a bright smiling sun for Due in June, Uncle Sam's stars and stripes top hat for Due in July, 3 falling leaves for Due in September, and the stork and baby once again for Due in November. You've probably guessed my main complaint with this range - at the time I reviwed them they were missing August, October and November. Hopefully Rosemary will find time to complete the set of due months soon.

Cool graphics from Cool Babies

Another online due date shirts store with different designs for each month of the year is Cool Babies .

Every month has the words ‘Due in’ followed by the name of the month, along with a cute graphic drawing depicting a flower, the weather or an event in that month. They use:Snowflakes forDue in January, icicles for Due in February, a clover for Due in March, a tulip for Due in April, a butterfly for Due in May, a blazing sun for Due in June, fireworks for Due in July, a dandelion for Due in August, fallen leaves for Due in September, a Jack O Lantern for Due in October, mittens for Due in November and a snowman for Due in December.
I think the designer of these due date announcement shirts is right - they're cool!

April the first - April Fools Day prank pregnancy announcement

This date is not as much about the due date as when you would actually wear the shirt. That’s because it’s an April Fool prank shirt that says knocked up on the front and April Fool on the back. I can imagine it being appropriate for a variety of situations. For example if you’re a childless couple and you’re feeling pressure to start a family, this prank could be a fun way to tell them to back off. Or at the other end of the spectrum if you have a large family, people might be wondering whether you’re going to announce yet another addition to the family. That makes them prime targets for this joke shirt too.

You can play a similar joke even when it’s not April Fool’s Day, with more general joke pregnancy announcement tshirts etc that say ‘I’M PREGNANT on the front and ‘I’M JOKING’ on the back at www.cafepress.com/materni_tee/1309831
All these designs are based on our original KNOCKED UP tanks and t-shirts that don’t say anything on the back which are great for announcing your pregnant.

Simple Impressions: ETA and month of due date

eta November

A novel take on the due date is to use the letters ETA which normally mean ‘Estimated Time of Arival’ above the month of your due date. The designer has framed these words in an elipse and a love heart with wings, to create a simple but striking graphic, even with just the black and the grey. You can see the whole range of designs at this page .

Or you can get straight to the month of your baby’s ETA by clicking on the month of your due date below:
January,
February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December.

I also like their range of simple hats. for the mom, dad and extended family even though they’re not shirts and they’re not about due dates lol.

She Knows Network: Month-by-month

There are cute shirt designs for a due date in each month at the online shop of the She Knows Network .

They’ve gone to a lot of effort to make each month different and apply the design to a wide range of products. There are currently just a few examples of the design not fitting perfectly onto one of the products such as a licence plate frame, but on most of the products, and on the shirts in particular, these designs look great.
You may not associate the chosen motif with the month of your due date. For example they chose an anchor and the sun for May. But if you’re looking for some bright and cheerful due date announcement shirts, it’s worth checking out their offering by clicking on the month of your due date below:
January,
February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November orDecember.

Due date and gender

You get a double whammy with these colourful pregnancy announcement shirts and stuff because as well as announcing the month of your due date they also announce the sex of your baby. As I blog this they have only covered off October boys, October girls, November girls and December boys. But you will be able to find any new sections from the main page here

One reason I wanted to give them an early plug is that their profits from all sales will go towards buying and designing a new website and message board for the BBB Preggo Pals!

Due Date Shirts for all seasons.

Due in Winter
Naturally, the first due date announcement shirts I found were my own, at Materni-Tee.com (TM). There are four designs featuring seasonal photography and a caption announcing that the wearer's baby is due in Winter, Spring, Summer or the Fall. The inspiration for this set came from the photographer at Blue Ridge Pictures when he offered the Summer and Winter photographs for our use. These due date designs are ready to go on a wide range of shirts and other products. When you wear these shirts, you’re saying the season of your estimated due date in pictures as well as words.
